The Symud Ymlaen / Moving Forward project provides young people who have offended and those leaving the care system greater access to employment and training.

The project supports young people undertaking a six month paid work placement, with a range of employers across Wales.
For young people needing extra support, the project also provides bespoke training in Literacy, numeracy and ICT, as well as generic employment skills.

This is a partnership project between a numbers of agencies across Wales. Llamau is the lead organisation for Symud Ymlaen / Moving Forward, working in partnership with CBSA (Wales), Sova, Construction Youth Trust and GISDA to deliver the project.

Want to take part?
Are you a young person between 16 and 18years old, and a care leaver, currently in care or have been involved with a youth offending service?
Do you want to learn new skills, get some qualifications and paid work experience? Need somebody to just give you that chance? Then look no further!
Symud Ymlaen / Moving Forward is just for you – the project matches young people with work placements in a huge range of sectors.

Want to Refer?
Are you working with or supporting young people who fit the criteria for this initiative? The referral process is simple and straightforward and can provide worthwhile opportunities for the young people you are working with.
